The Cheese Farm

My name is Gert Johnsen, a commercial photographer from Scandinavia, with a huge personal interest in Travel and Music. This interest has translated into the main focus of my photography.

I have visited over 30 countries and been to a number of music events around the world. There is nothing that make me feel as good as travelling, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures and enjoying a world of music live. I want to show the world as I see it and decided to transition into photography in 2017.

My goal, with every photograph, is to memorialise beautiful places, people, events, etc. To capture moments in time. I use a variation of in-camera techniques, targeted execution times, advanced post processing as well as time blending methods to make that happen

One can argue that I have a very unique visual language, just as any photographer. But ultimately my photos hold a tint of inspiration mixed with my own rather clean and stripped visual language.
